LEARN MORE ABOUT TRAUMA INFORMED PRACTICES

Meet STEPHANIE LYN GREGORY

For much of my life, I believed that trying harder was the answer. Like many women, I spent years carrying responsibility for everyone around me while quietly living with the effects of chronic stress, difficult relationships, and patterns I didn't yet understand.

Learning how trauma affects the nervous system transformed not only the way I viewed myself, but the way I understood healing. I discovered that lasting change doesn't come from simply changing behavior—it comes from understanding what is happening beneath it. When we learn to work with our physiology instead of against it, we create the capacity to think more clearly, respond rather than react, and build healthier relationships from the inside out.

Today, my mission is to bring trauma-informed education to individuals, families, schools, churches, and organizations throughout North Texas. I believe that understanding the nervous system is one of the most practical and hope-filled tools we can offer people because it replaces shame with understanding and creates space for genuine growth.

Through my partnership with The Mental Wellbeing Company, I am committed to making trauma-informed education and positive psychology accessible to more people. As a Certified Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach, I have completed the ICF and CPD-accredited Somatic Trauma-Informed Coaching Certification and am proud to be part of the Trauma-Informed Professional Network—the fastest-growing community of trauma-informed professionals in the world.

Whether I am coaching individuals, leading workshops, or speaking to organizations, my goal is always the same: to help people develop greater emotional capacity, strengthen resilience, and create environments where both individuals and communities can flourish.
